Our wines draw their unique character from the Wahluke Slope AVA of the Columbia Valley, where all of our 2013 and 2014 grapes were sourced. Being one of the warmest climates in Washington State, it is in a rain shadow area with south facing slopes.
This is a fine, well-balanced blend of our Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah including 50% of each. This bold and flavorful wine sparkles in the glass, illuminating a beautiful crimson-red color. Its earthy but flowery nature displays a comforting balance of fruit and alcohol with a touch of dark chocolate and cinnamon. The essence of tart cherry and rhubarb invigorates the palate with a zesty but smooth flourish on the mouth. The grapes are from Wahluke Slope of the Columbia Valley and the wine aged in new French oak barrels for 32 months.
Our Syrah is a robust, dense crimson wine with powerful aromas of rich, spicy fruits and molasses. It provides an expressive fruit forward feel with hints of blackberry, melon, vanilla and tobacco, followed by the signature Syrah smokiness on the palate. The power of the wine complements the oak it derived from 2 ½ years in new French oak barrels very well.
This bold Pinot Noir draws its unique character from the Wahluke Slope grapes of the Columbia Valley. This wine underwent an extended maceration period before inoculation to draw added color and boldness from the grapes. Aged in all new French Oak barrels for 2 ½ years, it delivers a fruit forward start with a hint of light oak. It starts with a peppery tartness and shifts quickly to hints of cherry, raspberry and vanilla, with lingering tannins to finish.
The Cabernet Sauvignon was barreled in new French oak barrels for 2 ½ years, creating delightful tannins and full, crisp acidity, through to a lingering finish. The cab is our boldest wine, as it should be. It offers a tantalizing fragrance of rich fruits, cranberry, pepper, and oak. The flavor evokes a spicy front mouthfeel, with lingering suggestions of black cherry, cranberry, and a tantalizing dark chocolate finish.
